BIJOUX CEBU



Cebu, the capital province of Southern Philippines, also happens to be the country’s capital of the costume jewelry industry.

On September 18-20, 2010, international buyers will converge on Shangri-la's Mactan Resort And Spa in Cebu, Philippines for a unique Fashion Jewelery & Accessories Fair that merges business and pleasure, organized by the Fashion Accessories Manufacturers And Exporters Foundation Philippines, Inc. (FAME Foundation) and supported by the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Tourism, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region VII, Export Development Council.

Dubbed as “Bijoux Cebu” (Bijoux being a French word for jewelry), is a trade-only exhibition that will showcase an extensive collection of fashion accessories - costume jewelery, bags, sandals, components - focusing on the highly popularized trend of eco-fashion to maximize the growing global demand for fashion accessories made from natural materials and eco-friendly products.

Paraded by top models in the Cebu fashion industry, exhibitors, traders and buyers will be entertained by the Spring-Summer 2011 Collection – an extensive and all-original collection of Philippine green jewelry designed to be an interactive and experiential trade show that builds on industry knowledge, business relationships, and social responsibility, and will share exclusive behind-the-scenes peeks at the industry. This year’s theme that revolves around nature’s 4 basic elements of earth, wind, fire, and water.

The show targets foreign buyers from all over the world, especially those from first-world countries who advocate green living.
