New Showrooms, Expansions in Las Vegas

Following are some of the new and expanded showrooms and activities at next week’s Las Vegas Market.

• Kuka Home

Upholstery vendor Kuka Home makes its North American debut in spaces C-1401 and C-1452 of Building C. Kuka Home is a vertical furniture manufacturer with two factories totaling 2.5 million square feet, integrating leather tanning, polyurethane foam manufacturing, product research and development, furniture production and retail through its 700-plus store company-owned and franchised Kuka branded chain.

Although exporting for just three years, Kuka already counts upon North America for 40 percent of total sales, Europe for 32 percent, Australia/New Zealand for 14 percent and the Middle East for 11 percent. Kuka’s retail customers include Crate & Barrel, Sears/Kmart, Pier One, Marshalls/TJ Maxx, Rooms to Go, Bloomingdales, Z Gallerie, Cost Plus World Market, El Dorado Furniture and Sears Canada.

The company produces upholstered furniture, occasional chairs, upholstered beds, dining chairs, barstools, ottomans, benches and storage with all available in leather, fabrics and microfiber, and leather-wrapped wall mirrors.

• NaturesCast

A Las Vegas-based company that uses a unique process to create modern, environmentally friendly furniture and home décor accessories, is opening its first permanent showroom in two spaces in World Market Center’s Building C, C-05740 and C-785.

The NaturesCast product line is created using agro-forest waste including dry leaves, dead twigs and barks from the forests around Compostela, Province of Cebu, Philippines. The collected materials are shredded through a special machine and bonded together using an odorless water-based binder and then shaped into a variety of unique and functional forms.

NaturesCast® has over 100 different contemporary products currently available in North America including vases, tables, lamps, table accents, trays, bowls, frames, couches, chairs, stools and more. All products come in a variety of colors including natural, black, RC tone, brown and two-tone.
